Game Modes

One of the best things about an arena shooter is the variety—you get different maps, different game modes, but the same core mechanics and gear. This keeps things fresh while letting players sharpen their skills across multiple playstyles.

Clockwork Rampage brings this to life with three distinct game modes in it’s Alpha version:

Deathmatch

Smash everything that moves. No secondary objectives—just pure skill and domination.

Play solo in free-for-all or team up for some chaotic mayhem.

Our demo map, Clockwork Carnage, takes the fight to a battlefield of massive spinning cogs. With three vertical levels, tons of obstacles, and shifting platforms, mastering movement is just as important as landing your shots.

Capture the Flame

Infiltrate the enemy camp, steal their Flame (our take on the classic flag), and bring it home—just make sure your own burning banner is still standing in order to score.

Cistern Clash, our demo map, is built for intense team fights. The action centers around the Cistern, a choke point where players have to push through in order to get to the enemy side of the map. There are two main routes – ground or roofs with multiple transitions in between them so players have to work as a team and communicate in order to cover all paths and win.

Protect the Core (PvE)

Our only PvE mode — play it solo or with a squad.

Automated enemy mechs are swarming the city, hell-bent on destroying the Energy Core that powers everything.

Enemy waves are randomized, and the difficulty ramps up fast. More players? More chaos. You’ll never know what’s coming next or from where they’ll strike, so stay sharp, keep moving, and when things get rough—yell for backup!

This is just the beginning—Clockwork Rampage’s modular design means we can introduce even crazier game modes in the future. Expect more ways to test your skills, team up, and have fun.
